A rarely seen 5 feet White King cobra caught in Valvettiturai

A rarely seen white king cobra was caught after a half hour battle in Thiniyampai, Valvettiturai day before yesterday (07).
Cobra charming used to be a religious ritual and considering the absence of 'safe snake farm' in Jaffna, the cobra was left peacefully yesterday at Point Pedro Vallipura Azhvar temple area.
It may be noted that same kind of king cobra was caught 31.10.2012 in Thillaiyampathy's house in Mathavady, Valvettiturai.
The White king Cobras, which may live up to 20 years, are said to be found in southern Asia, including Srilanka.
